Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her best-known role is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her passion for performing on stage. She attended theatre classes in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career with Chicago-area theaters for a few years. She then moved on to film and television. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. Anna was later selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler was on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully, the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. The year 2022 saw Gunn also participated in an audio-play series called "Numbered days". The romance that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of his life.
