Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. Most famously, he is popular for the roles he played in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". While in college, he started to pursue a passion for acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. He has been in the television and film industry, but the small screen characters which earned him fame and an enormous audience. He has been able to easily play characters who are from both sides of law and grab the audience's attention. He was the voice of a serial killer on the first TV series he appeared in however he later chose to play the role as an NYPD detective. Numerous times, he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. It is his trademark eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which have been said to make his look attractive. They've assisted in play tough characters in a charming way. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
